tuesday OBAMA BRINGS HOME TROOPS

President Obama Bringing Troops Home By Thanksgiving

4,400 American soldiers lost there lives, over 9 years and 1 trillion dollars later President Obama has promised to bring the soldiers home by Thanksgiving. Mr. President, despite opposition and ratings falling from supporters that believed in his Change campaign, is going to end the year with a power move promising the last troops will be home no later than Dec. 31st. Americans that believed the war was started in false pretenses will all be breathing a sigh of relief. I have to say this move should all but guarantee a 2012 re-election when you start to look at the accomplishments of the last few months. Its going to be interesting to revisit the blog at the beginning of 2012 with the ratings after all the troops are returned and the president gets to say "I told you I was going to bring them home", "What more can I say?"

STEVE JOBS WARNS PRESIDENT OBAMA OF ONE TERM PRESIDENCY

Steve Jobs Warned Obama of 1 Term Presidency

In the fall of 2010 Steve Jobs met with President Obama at the San Francisco airport. The meeting almost did not happen because Jobs was waiting for an invitation. This was revealed in the biography written by Walter Isaacson that was released Oct. 24th. His intentions were to actually help  President Obama on his re-election in 2012 by designing ads. Jobs had an idea that the president should meet with CEO's to create  more business friendly policies. When the list became too long in Jobs opinion he decided not to show. Its obvious that because regulations and cost of US companies building factories here they are making moves to China and abroad. He also was opinionated about our education system stating that the teacher's union were partially to be blamed for low performing schools and educators. Jobs insisted on longer school days and school years that last 11 months.

The numbers for sales will not be available for a few more days but here is a display setting from a bookstore in China. The October released book is number #1 on kindle, ibookstore and amazon.com. Though released late in the year its still predicted to finish at #1 for the year. Sony Films has already purchased the books rights.

OLD SCHOOL NEW SCHOOL YOU KNOW THE RULES PT.3

Old School New School You Know The Rules
Swizz Beatz

DJ. MANTRONIK

This day and age most entertainers go the extra mile and create a brand with their message or a product. The comparison between Kurtis Mantronik and Swizz Beatz is evident physically and musically. Both of these producers made a major contribution to hip hop and changed the game for everyone. Kurtis Mantronik born in Jamaica to a Syrian father and Jamaican mother. His given name Kurtis el Khaleel and he worked for Sleeping Bag Records as an A&R, producer and artist. Swizz Beatz was born as Kasseem Dean in the Bronx and was imported to Atlanta for too many fights in high school. Being introduced to hip hop as a teen in the South Bronx his father purchased equiptment for him to dj. By the age of 17 Swizz sold his first beat which was "Ruff Ryders Anthem" for DMX. His uncles owning Ruff Ryder Records was instrumental in his success and eventual 2009 Urban Music Award for Producer of The Year. Here is a hit list of songs and artist Swizz produced:

  •  DMX ("Party Up")
  • Beyonce ("Check On It")
  • T.I. ("Bring Em Out")
  • Styles P ("Good Times")
  • Cassidy ("Hotel","Im A Hustla")
  • Busta Rhymes ("Touch It")
  • Ludacris ("Nasty Girl")
  • Jadakiss ('Who's Real?")
  • Maino ("Million Bucks")
  • Chris Brown ("I Can Transform Ya")
The next level of marketing is to create a brand. Swizz currently has a line of sneakers out with Reebok that are selling off the shelves, resident producer at NYU, designer at Lotus cars and collects paintings along with selling paintings of his own. Earnings from the paintings go to the Children's Cancer & Blood Foundation.

The career of Kurtis Mantronik with the group Mantronix lasted from 1984-91. Besides being one of the main producers for Sleeping Bag Records he produced 5 of his own albums. The second album "In Full Effect" was the first album done on DAT(Digital Audio Tape introduced by Sony in 1987) instead of reel to reel. As an A&R for Sleeping Bag he was responsible for signing E.P.M.D. to sister label Fresh Records. Mantronik also produced Just-Ice who was one of the first east coast hardcore emcees and one of the first to embrace the teachings of the Nation of Gods and Earths. The sound that Mantronik created he called electro-funk. He considered himself the King of the Beat for his time in the 80's. Producing and creating music from the age of 17 however took a toll on Mantronik where the 3 days at a time studio sessions burned him out. He took a break from 1991-98 and resurfaced in Britain. The techno and house style of music he produced was always bigger in Europe. His contribution to music as an editing and remix pioneer is still felt around the industry.Personally in my collection of vinyl the first remixes I remember and strong edits were from Mantronik and The Latin Rascals who did production together from time to time in the early 80's. As a matter of fact the album cover above for "Needle To The Groove" was a statement artistically that actually gave you a peek at the party in Mantroniks head. Back then the mentality overall was doing it for the love of the music. By looking at this album cover I see endorsements from either Technics, Adidas, Cazal, Cerwin Vega or Kangol should have been in the works. Even though we don't hear alot about Mantronik he has done major production and remixes in Europe on pop, house music and techno artist tracks. Also produced tracks on Dance Dance Revolution and TrickStyle video game series. So old school personas can take advantage of the new school rules.

OLD SCHOOL NEW SCHOOL....U KNOw THE RULES PT.2

OLD SCHOOL NEW SCHOOL....YOU KNOW THE RULES

The year is still 1985 and trend setting teenager James Todd Smith released one of the first formatted hip hop LP's, meaning previous rap records had not been set the way pop albums were with patterned verses. This album "Radio" did turn out to be a winning formula  because it went platinum and the first single "I Need A Beat" was the song that launched Def Jam Records. James aka LL Cool J also got an early taste of the acting bug with a cameo in Krush Groove. The movie was actually based on the life of Russell Simmons one of the moguls that created Def Jam. So even though he had only a cameo in the movie its safe to say he still played a major role. LL also played a behind the scenes role in hip hop sportswear company TROOP. So who would be surprised 26 years later, 9 Grammy nominations, 12 successful albums, a clothing line, and 4 novels, several movies LL would deem himself the GOAT. Greatest Of All Time

DJ Mantronik

SWIZZ Beatz

Also in 1985 Sleeping Bag Recording artist and A&R rep Kurtis el Kaleel, aka Kurtis Mantronik along with rapper MC Tee aka Crime Master Tee released the single "Fresh Is The Word" on the album Mantronix: The Album. The duo met in the Manhattan store where Mantronik worked as the in house DJ at Downtown Records. After two years with Sleeping Bag Records the group left Sleeping Bag and signed the first 7 figure deal for a hip hop group with Capitol Records. The album "In Full Effect" was the first to be mastered on DAT (Digital Audio Tape) instead of  standard reel to reel. Before leaving Sleeping Bag DJ Mantronik helped produce Just-Ice, T La Rock and Joyce Sims. Just-Ice and his career is another interesting topic. The exit of DJ Mantronik from Sleeping Bag left Just-Ice with production done by KRS ONE in back to back albums. This change was not the formula Just-Ice needed from the techno electric beats of Mantronik's to a more raw and urban sound. The British fans and hip hop New Yorkers didn't embrace the new sound at all. You would think because Just-Ice was one of the first east coast rappers to record hard core rap, that the combination of raw beats would be fitting. If you listen to the Red Man single "It's Like That" featuring K-Solo you will get a taste of one of those Mantronik beats although reworked its clearly the Just-Ice track "Cold Get Dumb". The rapper did take part in "Self Destruction" the 1989 Stop The Violence movement and later collaborated with Mantronik again in 93 with "Gun Talk". And even more recently did a series of 12-inch singles with super producer DJ Premier. So even though most of our last images of Just-Ice are from Stop The Violence in 89 the hip hop pioneer has an ever increasing catalog of music. As for Mantronix and the music style they created and maintained as a group from 1984-91 we are gonna need a third article to tie in the comparison to Swizz Beatz to pay the proper homage to the pioneer of music DJ Mantronik

OLD SCHOOL NEW SCHOOL YOU KNOW THE RULES....starring

Ricky Rozay

Chubb Rock

                         AS

Roxanne Shante'

Nikki Minaj

                                AS

DJ  Mantronik
Swizz Beatz
The year is 1985  a year earlier the movie Beat Street made alot of noise for hip hop and an unknown actor Jon Chardiet played a character named Ramon "Ramo" that set the whole pace for the climax of the movie.
27 years later the actor is still unknown but everyone from that era can relate to the shout out in the theme song "Everybody say Ramo!" The actor definitely would have made the show "Where Are They Now?" In 1988 Brown University pre-med student Richard Simpson aka Chubb Rock drop out of college to pursue a career in rap. Who knows what impact Dr. Simpson would have made in the medical world, but to this day when "Treat Em Right" comes on people still hit the dance floor. His dancers Dinky and Hotdog formed a group called A.T.E.E.M  in 92 (everybody can't rap) Besides an appearance in Crooklyn Dodgers in 95 we haven't heard much from the Big Man. He did make an appearance in 2011 on the NBC game show The Marriage Ref with his wife and childhood sweetheart of 24 years KeKe "Diamond" Simpson. He did collaborate with Wordsmith on "Back In" in 2009 youtube it and you hear some of the story of the crooked promoters and label reps that left rap legends with pockets like ours. What guys like Chubb Rock and Heavy D. did was pave the way for big guys like Christopher "Biggie" Wallace and eventually Ricky Rozay.

Loilita Gooden aka  Roxanne Shante' also had a career effected by "janky promoters". Throughout the legendary battles in her career the label left her with little to nothing in cash. Being naive and only 14 at the time of her first recording didn't help. She  paved the way for several female emcee's to follow in her footsteps. Shante' claimed in 2004 on the beef dvd that the label Warner Music payed for her to go to school but the claim was disputed in Slate magazine by journalist Ben Sheffner. What we do know is that she was fearless in her time to shine dissing everyone and entered the scene on a Marley Marl beat and took on the whole U.T.F.O crew in 1984 to a lyrical war that spawned numerous answer songs from all over the industry. 1985 brought the hit "Bite This' that dissed everyone from LL to Run DMC. The following year she teamed up with Steady B and Biz Markie in seperate tracks.  In 1988 she teamed up with Rick James in a song called Loosey's Rap. Oh yeah, how could we forget in 1987 "Have A Nice Day" where she said lyrical giant KRS ONE's name sounds like a wack radio station. The list of names of people grows longer as I did my research for this article of where are they now??? We all know where Steady B is and thats doing life for a botched bank robbery. Sparky D disappeared off the scene and probably got the same treatment from the labels Shante' got. Which leads us to the fact that Industry rule #4,080 record company people are SHADY. Obviously there is a need for a second part to this article where we will get to DJ Mantronik and a few others that meant alot to hip hop. And if anyone happens to see Ramo, Dinky, Hotdog or even Tracie Spencer yall let me know.

Peace and Blessings,

HOW TO LIVE BEFORE YOU DIE

HOW TO LIVE BEFORE YOU DIE

When Steve Jobs dropped out of college his mind connected the dots to follow his heart and drop in on a calligraphy class. Who says you have to graduate from college with the classes that are not necessarily your choice. A man that eventually changed the course of technology was put up for adoption by his unwed graduate student mother. His biological mother insisted he be adopted by a family that both graduated from college and refused to sign the adoption papers. The couple insured her that he would go to college and she decided to go ahead with the adoption. Seventeen years later he dropped back in to college but realized after six months he didn't want to spend his parents life savings on his education. Who had any idea the calligraphy classes he took twenty-seven years prior would change the face of computers with such a detailed typography in the introduction to the Mac. When you follow your heart no matter the path it takes you, connecting the dots gives you an image that you see in the picture above. It took Steve Jobs to be fired from a company that he helped start to start from scratch with his creative process. Within 5 years he formed Next and Pixar which is the most successful and first computer animated studio. I'm not going to bore you with the accomplishments of this tech wizard  because we all know he changed the way we look at photos, computers, television and listen to music. He modeled his career after Edwin H. Land the inventor of instant photography and founder of Polaroid Corporation. Some might ask how a college drop out could turn a distribution deal with Disney and his company Pixar into Disney purchasing Pixar in 2006 in an all-stock transaction worth 7.4 billion??? You might have to read the authorized biography of Steve Jobs written by Walter Isaacson, which will be on the shelf on October 24th, compiled of 30 interviews with Steve and sure to break down the drive and perfectionism that lead to 342 patents and one of the 17 most powerful people in 2011 Forbes Magazine. The announcement of his death on October 5th of 2011 at the young age of 56 made me realize what his impact of the world was but I also thought of the statement "Live everyday like its your last, because one day you will be right".

the oprah facebook interview

THE OPRAH FACEBOOK INTERVIEW

September 9, 2011 after 25 years of enlightenment, teaching and interviewing people for over 4,561 shows, Oprah was interviewed live on Facebook with Sheryl Sandberg the company's COO. Sheryl's journey to the company came by way of The Department of Treasury via Google inc. Quite a journey for a 41 year old Internet entrepeneur becoming a voice to be heard and businesswoman that even Oprah can't wait to meet. Sheryl welcomed Oprah and her 7.4 million followers to connect with the rest of the world. The mission of Facebook being we want every person in the world to connect and Oprah's to help each individual find their inner purpose is a perfect combination to reach and teach everyone. With a lightning round of questions Sandberg asked some of Oprah's favorites from Jay-Z or Paul Simon? Deep dish or thin crust ? Peanut butter or bacon? In the midst of all the power each woman contained within them there was always room for negativity. Oprah mentioned a show she did with the Skinheads and another with a husband his mistress and wife. From there she decided to never do shows that gave a platform for evil or darkness. The interview was a powerful and on target direction we should all realize to elevate whatever platform we stand on. It helped me with the direction of this particular article and I've always tried to see the upside of any situation. One of the most important questions that Sheryl Sandberg asked Oprah in that lightning round of questions was did she prefer the journey or the destination? Her answer was the journey and I believe that its along that route that you really discover your purpose and when that bell rings in your head their is no other feeling like it.

MEET THE NEW BROWNS PT.1

Brigham Young

Kody Brown and his 4 wives

MEET THE NEW BROWNS

Kody Brown and his 4 wives situation bares a striking resemblance to the man nicknamed "The American Moses", Brigham Young. Kody and family represent a fundamentalist Mormon family not to be confused with modern Latter-Day Saints or 'Mormons". Brigham Young who was the president of the L.D.S. church led the Mormons in a mass exodus from Nauvoo, Illinois to Utah that was Mexican territory at that time. Kody and family also migrated from Utah to Vegas but not because of the ridicule that the L.D.S. church had to face, but they were criticized by Mark A. Perigard of The Boston Herald. Perigard accused Brown of opening his family to possible criminal prosecution for the sake of being on television. Elizabeth Tenety of "Religion Dispatches", accuses the show of not engaging in the theology of plural marriage. Tenety says Kody is always  saying how dissimilar Fundamentalist Mormons are from mainstream Mormonism without giving the viewers information they need to compare each situation. What I can say about Mormons without going into the doctrine and proclamations, is that you will not find many black or women priest in their denomination. Nor will you find many black students in the University of Utah or Brigham Young in which they founded. We can thank them for bringing us the Grammy Award winning Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Hall of Fame quarterback and great-great-great grandson of Brigham Young and Superbowl XXIX MVP Steve Young. Kody Brown did protect himself with lawyers and disclosed that he is only legally married to one of his 4 wives but when asked by Wendy Williams if the wives ever thought about cheating on Kody and they said no because Kody had never cheated on them. Are you confused yet??? Well besides the big "Cake Boss" debut in 2009 this was one of the biggest premieres on TLC with 2.26 million viewers. I'm gonna keep an eye on the new Browns and keep you updated.

N.E.R.D. how cool pt. 3

The Neptunes joined with Shay Haley in 2001 as a side project and formed a group called N.E.R.D. Creatively some producers and artist as well reach a plateau in their career when they have made enough money to express themselves musically. The sound they created if you were to label it would be funk/hip-hop/rock. It may have took the N.E.R.D.S two gold albums to equal the usual platinum touch but the trio were achieving a success that had no boundaries. When you visit  n-e-r-d.com the creative swirl of music colors and water in the core of the site represents one of the most interesting home pages I've ever seen. In 2005 they took a break for 3 years and left Virgin Records signing with Interscope under Star Trak Entertainment, which was founded by Pharrell and Chad. Even though the sound they were known for was machine produced the difference in N.E.R.D. was a live band. They toured with Kanye in 2008 and opened for Rihanna and Lupe Fiasco in the Glow In The Dark Tour. The 2010 album Nothing was the fourth studio album that Pharrell explained to Mark Hoppus in an interview as the feather representing peace and the helmet war. One of the more recent collabos Pharrell has under his belt is working with Gloria Estefan the Queen of Latin Pop. Pharrell was the inspiration for her "Little Miss Havana" album. With all the things going on today these artist express themselves and take you away leaving you with one thought about their music, "beautiful". I guess it is cool to be a nerd because those seem to be the people with longevity in music and business. Quite appropriate when the acronym stands for "No one Ever Really Dies".

N.E.R.D. how cool pt. 2

I remember having a skateboard growing up but none of the group that I hung out with stuck with the boards. Pharrell Williams, a.k.a. Skateboard P was part of the hip hop movement that made it not only cool to be who you are, but make music that was not etched in stone in any music category. Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo were signed to Virgin Records as the hip hop duo called The Neptunes. Pharrell and Chad met in a summer camp for the gifted and talented at the age of 12. The range of hits they are responsible for range from hip hop, R&B and pop songs with Britney Spears. N.O.R.E.s "Super Thug" was the first successful hit for the group but who would have envisioned them being responsible for hits like Jay-Z's "Give It To Me", Mystikals "Shake Ya Ass", Usher's "You Don't Have To Call", Britney Spears' worldwide smash hit "I'm A Slave 4 U" and several other #1 club tracks. In 2002 the group was awarded by The Source and Billboard as "Producers of the Year". That same year they were responsible for the hit "Hot In Here" by Nelly. Worth over 155 million the Vibe magazine viewers voted The Neptunes the 3rd greatest hip hop producers of all time behind Dr. Dre and DJ Premier. The compilation of hits from the late 90's New Jack Swing sound to Britney Spears pop has lead this group to their own sound today. Not bad for a bunch of nerds huh???

N.E.R.D. how cool

                                                              N.E.R.D.

First I would like to give a shout out to the people in Belarus who came through to view my page. That's somewhere west of Russia and north of Ukraine, I always appreciate when someone takes time out for what i do even if you end up here by accident, Thanks and realize there are no accidents. The concept I always have planted in my seeds brain is be nice to the nerds even befriend them in school because they might turn out to be your boss one day. That's not advocating them to be a follower just be aware of the seating arrangement in class. You might be sitting next to Ron"Opie"Howard, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg or Pharrell Williams.

Touré: Tyler Perry is 'worst director' | Welcome to S2Smagazine.com

Touré: Tyler Perry is 'worst director' Welcome to S2Smagazine.com Although Tyler has made a big difference in Hollywood I have been on location at a few of his movies and the majority of his crew was not African Americans. I'm not in love with the message style of Madea but he gets to the masses and makes them laugh. I wouldn't go as far to say its cinematic malt liquor but its definitely buffoonery. The bottom line is Tyler has changed the approach to African American talent to Hollywood and showed his staying power on television. I wish he would have showed up at CNN to defend himself and his cause. However word is that he does pay his hired hands close to minimum wage in industry terms. After spending two years in Atlanta I have yet to see the man anywhere but I have never been to his studio and surely the man works hard. Obviously passing Steven Spielberg, Jerry Bruckheimer and even Simon.

whats your opinion on the Toure comment???

WHAT SOCIAL NETWORK RULES 2K11???

Its no doubt that social media makes the world go round. Every person that surfs the net today spends a big portion of their time on social networks.  Facebooks ever changing face is worth 70 billion which has converted over to corporate america in a big way. This addictive sight has recently got on many peoples nerves with the changes but have retained over 750 million peoples attention. How many times have you said "I'm deleting my facebook? ' Next in line surprisingly to some, is youtube with an undocumented 1 billion views or so daily. Im not sure what makes the views so hard to document but the 3 former employees of paypal made youtube one of the fastest growing sites in the summer of 2006. Many people have partnered with youtube in search of the $2.50 per 1,000 views or launched shows trying to get famous. The big question is does youtube own my videos or do I own them? In the terms of service that most don't take the time to read, it states that the person still owns the copyright but grants youtube a non-exclusive , worlwide license to re-distribute, re-publish and make money off your videos. I'm not gonna go deep into how to protect yourself and legalities that protect you, but I am developing a blog dedicated to the social networks. Best thing to remember when bringing in a videographer for your work is to have a work-for-hire freelance videographer agreement so you own the video unless you want the videographer to own them. Its also hard to count tweets and retweets but next in line is Twitter. With over 200 million users its the most rapidly moving social site of them all. Because it lacks the privacy settings of other sites its often the platform of celebrity "twitter beef". A recent fight took place with Fab and Ray J this weekend in Vegas when Fab and some other rappers joked on twitter about Ray J performing "One Wish" for Floyd Mayweather on his 24/7 show on HBO. Ray J approached Faboloso and a little tussle followed its crazy but twitter is instantly trending worldwide with hashtags that go global like #thingsharderthanrayj. You don't even have to be on twitter to hashtag a conversation and see whats being said all over the globe about the subject. Its hard to believe but Myspace is not dead yet. Recently being acquired by Specific, Media Inc. , and having Justin Timberlake as a part owner they may still rise from the grave. Last but not least is the infant of the group, GOOGLE+. Newly launched in June of 2011 they have surpassed 25 million users.  Is Google+ ready to challenge Facebook with unlimited resources? Did I mention they own Youtube? As a matter of fact, watch a live google+ hangout with will.i.am @ 9pm tonight. If google is your homepage you saw this big advertisement by the leader of The Blackeyed Peas. STAY TUNED

THE OUTLAWZ 2PACALYPSE NOW PT. 3

2PACALYPSE NOW THE OUTLAWZ PT.3

At the time of Tupac's release from prison his mind had to be flooded with facts and opinions about who was for him and who was against him. Rumors of the person who shot him had spread throughout the streets, to the walls of the prison and back to the streets. Some believe the sources of these rumors were actually F.B.I. informants that were purposely spreading false propaganda to stir up confusion. When Shakur touched down he immediately joined forces with his brother Mopreme and Big Sykes who were both in "Thug Life" and formed "The Outlaw Immortalz". As a natural leader Tupac emerged from prison as Makaveli a name derived from an  Italian philosopher that he took interest in by the name of  Niccolo Machiavelli. Big Sykes went by the name Mussolini after the Italian leader Benito Mussolini. The transformation Pac went through was evident in the message he had to send in his music and the names of each person added to the "Outlawz". The names coincided with various past and present tyrants and enemies of America. The obligation for Death Row was understood but the "Outlawz" were an assembly of his true family, a concept instilled in him from day one. Yaki Kadafi who was reported to be one of Mutulu Shakurs sons, in my book thats a brother I dont know where they get half brother stuff from but correct me if I'm wrong. Kadafi was named by Pac after the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. Kastro who was also known as K-Dog, was Pac's cousin and got his name from Cuban leader Fidel Castro. Hussein Fatal who was introduced to Pac by Kadafi, got his alias from former Iraq leader Saddam Hussein. Napoleon who later left the group to be a motivational speaker, got his name from Napoleon Bonaparte French military leader. Storm the only female member was said to be found by Pac at a movie set . A member added just a few months before Shakurs murder was Young Noble . Although he wasn't given an alias with the group Noble spilled his guts on the album Makaveli from the first track "Bomb First". E.D.I. Mean was also on the track and came off almost as Pac transformed in "Just Like Daddy". E.D.I. named after Ugandan president Idi Amin, happens to be the only member that I met in Atlanta so I will make sure he gets to read this because it may stand to be corrected in certain areas so get at me Big Malc. Every member traded lines as if they were being channeled by Pac and shined all throughout the last recorded album. The sense of urgency that Tupac showed in recording this last album could be seen in the fact that the songs were made in 3 days and 4 days for the tracks. Makaveli is subtitled "The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. The album had no other label mates from Death Row like the 9x platinum "All Eyez On Me". The producers used were QD3, who was Quincy Jones son and Pac's girlfriend Kidada's brother, Dre coproduced one track "Toss It Up", and featured 2 producers from the wack room. The wack room was a room in Death Row that nobody wanted to do tracks with these particular producers. For some reason Pac was able to bring the best out in people. Hurt-M-Badd and Big D Harper were those producers that got the chance to create with Pac on the album that MTV.com labeled a classic and the #9 rap album of all time. You can hear Darryl "Big D" Harpers vocals in the song "White Man'z World". And on the track "Hold Ya Head" you hear the other producer from the wack room Hurt-M-Badd, guess they were waiting for Pac to bring out what they always had in them. This album sold a record 664,000 copies the first week and 3,911,787 copies to this date.

OUTLAWZ of today

Tupac and Kadafi

OUTLAWZ including STORM

Mopreme and Sykes went there own ways for personal reasons before Makaveli and severed ties with Death Row. Kadafi who was riding behind Pac that fateful day in September 15 years ago, was actually one of the only witnesses that could identify the shooter. Unfortunately his brother met his own fate two months after Pac was killed in a New Jersey project building. I saw the interview of his girlfriend saying they heard a knock at the door and she said "answer it" and he said "what if its somebody tryin to kill me?" When he answered he was shot. Two years later Napoleon convinced his cousin to turn himself in over the murder. After the death of Pac and Kadafi, Hussein left the group and has since returned. Since 2010 the group has teamed up with allhiphop.com to release a song every week up until the release of their September 13, 2011 studio album called "Perfect Timing".

Tupac spoke these words but we didnt get it until 2003 in the documentary "Resurrection", "Im not saying Im gonna change the world, but I guarantee I will spark the brain that will change the world."
He also said "do what you gotta do, and then out of you I will be reborn"

2PACALYPSE NOW 15 YRS LATER PT.2

2PACALYPSE NOW 15 YRS. LATER PT.2

"I promise to pay back Jimmy Henchman in due time, I knew you bitch niggaz was listenin the world is mine!" These lyrics can be heard on a song from "The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. The track is called "Against All Odds". Pac was so animated in assasinating the character of several rappers including Nas, Dre, Mobb Deep, Puffy, De La Soul and even the murder of Stretch was mentioned when he said "I guess your new friends wanted you dead". The paranoia going thru his head at this point of his life even people who were friends were foes. Stretch and Pac went back to "Sons of the P" the 1991 Digital Underground album. He was murdered in Queens Village Nov. 30 1995 nine months before Makaveli The Don Killuminati was released. Stretch was shot twice in the back and his mini-van smashed into a tree, hit a parked car and flipped over. The deep raspy voice of  Stretch can be heard on the track "Pain", one of my favorites and one of the first recordings on Death Row. Ironically the murder of Stretch was exactly one year to the day of Tupac's Quad City shooting in November of 94. Like Stretch said in the song "Pain", "years and years of that rough life running crazy wild as a kid and growin tough wit a knife".....its a deep game and my mama always cryin yo theres so much pain".

Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemund

At the time of the Quad City Studio shooting and robbery of Tupac he was really acting out and pulling guns out on stages causing alot of venues to cancel shows and his pockets were low. The East West beef was about to climax but when Pac got the call from Jimmy Henchman and  Lil Shawn to record in New York he was on his way. Lil Shawn had just recorded a song called "Dom Perignon" with Biggie in July of 94 four months before the November shooting of Tupac. Its been 15 years and we still have not solved the murders of Tupac Shakur or Christopher "B.I.G."Wallace, but there was a confession just this week. Dexter Isaac who is now serving a life sentence for a bank robbery decided it was time to make a confession about the Quad City shooting. Isaac decided it was time to clear his mind conveniently waitied out the statue of limitations. Isaac implicated Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemund as the person who paid him $2,500 for the Quad City shooting of Shakur. Rosemund who is on the run for drug charges and a murder indictment told  rollingout.com, the man is a convicted felon and a liar. Isaac claims he still has the jewelry in his posession. Do you believe Isaac??? Or do you believe Jimmy???

2PACALYPSE NOW AFTER 15 YRS.

I remember the words of Daz Dillinger on the Chronic's "High Powered". "So if you cross the Row, remember the first name is death."No love for the other side." Upon release from prison Tupac was in debt to Suge Knight for the money Suge put up to get him out. The setting at the label was unprofesional and chaotic but Pac came out swinging with 2 songs done the first day out "Ambitionz Az A Ridah" and "I Aint Mad At Cha", subsequently produced by Daz. Snoop who was on top of the charts at the time made way for the homie Pac to come in with "All Eyez On Me" his first Death Row produced album. In October of 1995 after serving 9 months of a one-and-a-half to four-and-a-half year sentence Tupac was released on bail posted by Suge Knight. The 1.4 million bond came with the stipulation that Pac was to release 3 albums under the Death Row label. "All Eyez On Me" was a record breaking 9x platinum double album that left Pac with the obligation of only one album.

Early in Tupac's life revolution and murder were part of his DNA. Being the son of Mutulu Shakur who was #380 on the F.B.I. ten Mosted Wanted List for four years over a brinks truck robbery and murderous shootout in October of 1981. Mutulu was caught in California  in 1986 on (RICO) charges and charged with helping his sister escape from prison. Assata Shakur was on the run between 1971-73 later charged with 6 felonies resulting in  3 acquittals and 3 dismissals although she was sentenced for the murder in the New Jersey Turnpike shootout of a state trooper. In 1979 she escaped from prison and since 1984 has resided in Cuba under political asylum and the Feds consider her a "domestic terrorist".
Both Shakurs were Black Panthers as well as his Godfather Geronimo Pratt that was a political prisoner for 27 years. Pratt died recently in June of 2011 in his native Tanzania of a heart attack.

Mutulu Shakur

Billy Garland

Also a Black Panther is Billy Garland the biological father of Tupac. His mother Afeni told Tupac that he was dead. After the first shooting of Tupac  was the first appearance of Garland in Tupac's life. When Pac woke up out of his coma he thought he was in heaven because he looked up and saw himself , which was actually his biological father Garland staring down at him. Later Garland sued Tupac's mom for half of the Tupac estate. Afeni Shakur accused Garland of being a gold digging absentee father for 17 years of his sons life that didn't even know when Tupac's birthday was. Having such a highly publicized life its not easy to find material that you have never heard so thats why I have tried to go outside the box and highlight the people that were in the life of Tupac.
Being that this is the 15th year we are going to make this a 3 part story join us tomorrow and we will get into a confession made about the shooting of Tupac that was just made this week.
And also the introduction of the illuminati while Pac was incarcerated stay tuned....
