"I promise to pay back Jimmy Henchman in due time, I knew you bitch niggaz was listenin the world is mine!" These lyrics can be heard on a song from "The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. The track is called "Against All Odds". Pac was so animated in assasinating the character of several rappers including Nas, Dre, Mobb Deep, Puffy, De La Soul and even the murder of Stretch was mentioned when he said "I guess your new friends wanted you dead". The paranoia going thru his head at this point of his life even people who were friends were foes. Stretch and Pac went back to "Sons of the P" the 1991 Digital Underground album. He was murdered in Queens Village Nov. 30 1995 nine months before Makaveli The Don Killuminati was released. Stretch was shot twice in the back and his mini-van smashed into a tree, hit a parked car and flipped over. The deep raspy voice of Stretch can be heard on the track "Pain", one of my favorites and one of the first recordings on Death Row. Ironically the murder of Stretch was exactly one year to the day of Tupac's Quad City shooting in November of 94. Like Stretch said in the song "Pain", "years and years of that rough life running crazy wild as a kid and growin tough wit a knife".....its a deep game and my mama always cryin yo theres so much pain".
Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemund |
At the time of the Quad City Studio shooting and robbery of Tupac he was really acting out and pulling guns out on stages causing alot of venues to cancel shows and his pockets were low. The East West beef was about to climax but when Pac got the call from Jimmy Henchman and Lil Shawn to record in New York he was on his way. Lil Shawn had just recorded a song called "Dom Perignon" with Biggie in July of 94 four months before the November shooting of Tupac. Its been 15 years and we still have not solved the murders of Tupac Shakur or Christopher "B.I.G."Wallace, but there was a confession just this week. Dexter Isaac who is now serving a life sentence for a bank robbery decided it was time to make a confession about the Quad City shooting. Isaac decided it was time to clear his mind conveniently waitied out the statue of limitations. Isaac implicated Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemund as the person who paid him $2,500 for the Quad City shooting of Shakur. Rosemund who is on the run for drug charges and a murder indictment told rollingout.com, the man is a convicted felon and a liar. Isaac claims he still has the jewelry in his posession. Do you believe Isaac??? Or do you believe Jimmy???
